About Activ
“Together.We help.”

Dear visitor of our website,

Slovenia and Austria have unfortunately been affected by devastating floods in recent days!

In addition to human suffering and the destruction of properties, natural disasters also affected too many operations of companies and wider economic development of the entire region.

SGZ (Slovenian Economic Association in Austria) immediately set up a humanitarian campaign called ‘Together. We help.*’, with the aim of collecting financial resources to help those affected by the floods in Slovenia and Austria as much as we can.

If you’re willing to support this cause and lend a helping hand, please follow the instructions and make a donation to the SGZ bank account.

Every donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to the relief and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas.

Here are the details to make your contribution:

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁: SGZ – ‘Skupno. Pomagamo. / Gemeinsam. Helfen.’

𝗜𝗕𝗔𝗡: AT04 3910 0014 0003 2441

𝗕𝗜𝗖: VSGKAT2K

Let’s stand together and show the strength of compassion and solidarity. Your support matters and by joining hands, we will help restore hope and rebuild communities. Together we will make a difference!

Women business delegation in Ljubljana 👩‍💼💼

Our Activ team member, Mateja Cmager, had a chance to attend a women business delegation in Ljubljana the previous week, organised by SGZ – Slovenska gospodarska zveza v Celovcu / Slowenischer Wirtschaftsverband Kärnten, and meet some truly amazing and successful women in business. She shared with us some insights from the event. 👇

Director of the Center of Business Excellence at Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, mag. Monika Lapanja, and MBA programme manager, Maja Kožuh (Urh), introduced the attendees to the issue of cultural differences by conducting a BaFa BaFa simulation.

It was eye-opening to see how culture impacts our personal and work environments, reminding us of the importance of reflecting on our own behaviour and attitudes towards others.🤝

🌍Embracing diversity is crucial in our work environment!

Attendees also had the pleasure of hearing from Alesa Mizigoj, the First Lady and driving force behind Medex d.o.o.🐝 Under her exceptional leadership, Medex has become one of Europe’s top manufacturers of food supplements based on bee products and other natural ingredients.🌿

Feedback from our colleague who attended the event made us think, more than ever, what a major impact on economic development, presence of women in business has.

👉Despite major progress there are still some challenges that women in business face, as many of them have pointed out, such as limited access to finance, the stereotypes and prejudices associated with female business leadership, difficulty in navigating business and family life, lack of mentoring support and mentoring opportunities, …

At Activ, we’re fully committed to supporting women’s entrepreneurship. We’re determined to set new standards and empower the next generation of women in business, which is reflected in the representation of women in various workplaces in Activ.💪

Together, let’s create an environment that fosters equal opportunities and amplifies the voices of talented women across all industries.🌟🔊

About Activ Project Managemnet
🌍 Activ explores new opportunities for cooperation in North Macedonia and Kosovo 🤝

Activ team took part in an economic delegation in North Macedonia and Kosovo from May 30th to June 2nd.🗓
During the delegation, we had the privilege to interact with distinguished guests including Ambassador Dr. Georg Woutsas, Macedonian Government Advisor Mr. Johannes Heidecker, Mr. Jürgen Schreder and Mr. Wilhelm Nest from Advantage Austria.

Although the industrial sector in these countries is still developing, the inflow of foreign investment is effectively strengthening their economies.📈
Moreover, in order to ensure sustainable growth independent of foreign investment, the government has announced investment projects worth approximately €4 billion for the period from 2022 to 2026, mainly in the renewable energy and environmental technology sectors.🔋

There is a strong interest in the Green Agenda in the Balkan countries. Especially in North Macedonia and Kosovo, which committed to implementing the Green Agenda at the Sofia Summit in November 2020.

👉Activ has attracted a lot of interest in these markets as a company that promotes cutting-edge technologies in the renewable energy sector.

We look forward to establishing new relationships with potential partners and chambers of commerce in North Macedonia and Kosovo. 👏

About Activ
A successful team building. Everyone had a great time.🙌🏼

The guide of our team building last weekend was a quote by Michael Jordan: ‘Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.’

Our team building for Activ Graz and Activ Belgrade took place in hotel Pupin, Novi Sad, Serbia.

The main objectives of our team building were:
🔴 to create a common understanding of corporate identity,
🔴 to strengthen the sense of togetherness,
🔴 to get closer to the company’s strategy and goals,
🔴 to identify opportunities for improvement.

We believe that these kind of activities can improve communication and planning skills and increase employee motivation and collaboration. Fun activities help people connect and see each other in a different light.

As can be seen from the photos, the teambuilding was more than a success, with all employees leaving with a smile on their face. 😁

About Activ
ACTIV Celebrates 30 Years

The 30th anniversary is of great significance and needs to be celebrated properly, which is exactly what we did at ACTIV.

We visited a winery in Goriška Brda, the village of Štanjel and a prosciutto factory in the Karst region in Slovenia. 🍷

Employees from 🇦🇹 Austria, 🇷🇸 Serbia and our 🇸🇮 Ljubljana office joined the celebration, as well as some retired employees.

We spent quality time together to celebrate the anniversary, but we also took the time to analyse how the company has evolved over the years, discuss good practices and take advice from former employees that will certainly help us in our future development.

Since we are of different mindsets and ages and come from different educational backgrounds, we may have different ways of thinking and looking at problems, we may also operate and manage projects differently in some cases.

This diversity is an advantage for our company, as it can only improve our overall productivity and company culture. Having several different opinions leads to creative solutions and innovative methods that help us achieve our goals and improve our business.

🔴 We are growing together.

As much as possible, we need to get to know each other, each other’s work styles and each other’s characters, so that we can find the best solutions for the success of our projects and the company as a whole.

About Activ
Our managing director about youth, education and the close economic cooperation between Austria and Slovenia

According to our General Director Benjamin Wakounig, the President of The Slovenian Business Association (SGZ): “Slovenia and Austria are so closely linked economically that we can hardly do without each other”.

As the CEO of ACTIV Project Management and the President of The Slovenian Business Association, he supports the development of young people, especially young entrepreneurs.

From his experience, he says: “Our primary goal must be to take youth seriously and, with them, to maintain peace in Europe – in the past we would have said to preserve it, today I say – to restore it.”

Read more in the article from Das Magazin aus unserem Bundesland Kärnten Regional:

Plädoyer für die Jugend, Frieden und mehr Bildung

BENJAMIN WAKOUNIG: “I grew up in a Slovenian-speaking home; my father was a blacksmith, my mother a housewife. I’m proud of that.”

About Activ
We are pleased to officially unveil our new logo!

For the last 20 years our logo helped with an extra level of credibility to our company.

After careful consideration of our values and services and how they are reflected in our brand, we decided to modernize our logo.

The old logo was not clearly sufficiently linked to the service we provide, which is project management, particularly in the energy sector. New logo’s aim was to embody the company we have evolved into.

We kept the essential elements, as they are the basis of our company’s identity.

🔴The existing color palette has been slightly refreshed as part of the redesign for a more contemporary feel. By making precise improvements, we have created a more unified and coherent whole, ensuring that the colors work easily together. Blue continues to focus on trust, honesty and reliability, which are our guiding principles in maintaining customer loyalty. Red denotes our energy and passion for our business.

🔴 The sign above the typography indicates movement and action, emphasizing us as always goal-oriented, driven for the success of our projects – for your success.

🔴 The straight line with the added gradient has kept the basic idea, but at the same time we have modernized it to be more dynamic, solid, serious and modern.

Thank you graphic designers Wedesignstuff for bringing our logo ideas to life.

About Activ
Participation in the Koper/Trieste economic delegation 12.-13.5.22

The Austrian Carinthian Chamber of Commerce (WKK) and the Slovenian Business Association in Klagenfurt (SGZ) with an emphasis on logistics in the Alpine-Adriatic region, organized a visit to the ports of Koper and Trieste and the logistics center Fürnitz/Brnca in Austria.

The ports of the northern Adriatic are an important transport hub for intercontinental, long sea, and short and medium routes from the Mediterranean to China and are essential for the import-export economy.

The advantage of such meetings is that we can always contribute to new networking, potential cooperation as well as new perspectives. Networking with colleagues throughout Slovenia is of great importance because it contributes to the exchange of ideas, and motivation and encourages creative and perspective thinking.

We look forward to hearing about your project.
