European Parliament Approves New Energy Efficiency Targets for 2030
As part of the European Green Deal, the latest Energy Efficiency Directive has been approved by the Members of European Parliament in the previous week, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.
The directive requires member states to reduce their overall energy consumption by at least 11.7% at the EU level by 2030, with member states saving an average 1.5% of energy per year. This is a significant step towards cleaner and more efficient energy. 🔌💡🌱
