Economic Mission in Belgrade, Serbia

ACTIV took part in the important Economic Mission in Belgrade from 13 – 15 April 2016. A total of 27 companies were involved in the delegation which took place under the leadership of Carinthian Economic Chamber President Jürgen Mandl, in cooperation with the Slovenian Business Association Carinthia. The delegation was given a warm welcome by Dr. Erika Teoman-Brenner, the business delegate in Belgrade. This was followed by a visit to the Austrian Ambassador Dr. Johannes Eigner. Next day, the Serbian Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Miroslav Miletić hosted a reception which was followed by a number of B2B meetings with potential partners. The agenda for last day was a working breakfast with the head of the European delegation, Mag. Oscar Benedikt on “EU rapprochement of Serbia”, and a meeting with Deputy Minister Vladimir Petrović. This was followed by legal and tax information for trade in Serbia.
