As President of the Slovenian Business Association Carinthia, our CEO, Benjamin Wakounig, is in favour of a Koralm intercity railway station Kühnsdorf/Klopeiner See
Benjamin Wakounig sees the Koralm railway as an enormous opportunity for the region.
The logistics hub at LCA-Süd in Fürnitz will be strengthened by the connection with the Koralm railway, especially for goods handling and customs clearance from the port of Trieste. The double-track extension of the Ljubljana-Koper and Celje-Bleiburg railway lines promotes the connection to the Koralm Railway.
Wakounig emphasises the importance of better integration of the municipalities and advocates the establishment of an intercity railway station in Kühnsdorf/Klopeiner See in order to strengthen the region of Southern Carinthia, especially in tourism and freight transport.🚂🌍✨
