🏗️ We’re nearing the finish line at the Nikola Tesla A power plant in Obrenovac, Serbia!
This isn’t just a construction project; it’s an eco-innovation marvel.
The facility boasts a state-of-the-art limestone preparation and gypsum production unit. This isn’t just about reducing emissions; it’s about creating value from waste!
Last week, during tests at units A5 and A6, we celebrated a significant milestone – the production of the first gypsum from waste, as can be seen on the video. This by-product is now ready for the construction industry, turning environmental challenges into eco-friendly solutions.
🔬 In collaboration with our partner, Mitsubishi Power, the leader of the consortium, we’ve incorporated the wet limestone-gypsum FGD process. This technology not only reduces air pollution efficiently but also handles a wide range of SO2 concentrations. The result? Enhanced reliability and cost-effectiveness for the plant.
The next few weeks are crucial as we continue finishing works and trial tests on units A3 and A4. Every step we take brings us closer to a greener, more sustainable future. 🌱
This project is a testament to what we can achieve when innovation meets determination. Thanks to our team’s hard work and our partners’ support, we’re turning a vision into reality. 🤝
Stay tuned for more updates as we forge ahead in making a significant contribution to environmental protection and sustainable industry practices!
